Oli objects to Nepal-India joint statement

UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has taken strong exception to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s recent India visit, saying that it has invited unnecessary roles.Speaking in Parliament today, UML Chairman Oli asked PM Dahal to clarify on what basis the Nepal-India relation has improved. “On what basis the relation has improved?
Did you work on blockade or sign the pending treaty?”, Oli asked PM Dahal.He further maintained that UML disagrees with the point related to the constitution amendment and point number 11 and 13 of joint statement. “UML disagrees with this point,” Oli said, questioning him if there are other matters regarding improvement of ties between the two nations.Nepal and India had issued a 25-point joint statement during Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s four-day state visit (Septembe 15-18) to India. -
