Born on December 1, 1955 Udit Narayan is a popular singer who has given us chartbusters for two decades now. Not only he is the voice behind the popular numbers from the 80’s and the 90’s ( the credit he shares

with Kumar Sanu) he has become the voice of the major Bollywood sensations such as Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. Apart from Nepali and Hindi, he has sung in many other languages Including Maithili, Marathi, Bhojpuri, Tulu, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Sindhi, Punjabi, Bengali, Mamipuri to name a few. Udit Narayan has won Three National Film Awards and Five Filmfare Awards. He was also awarded the Padma Shri and the Padma Bhushan by The Government Of India.
