Police have captured three people with 30 kg of “illicit” gold from Pinglasthan (close Gaushala) of Kathmandu. A group from the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police captured Gopal Bahadur Shahi, Dilbandhu Thapa and Santosh Kafle of Nepalgunj with the unlawful gold. SP Mira Chaudhary told Republica Online that the illicit gold was seized from Shahi’s ownership. He had touched base in Nepal from Dubai on an Air Arabia flight.
