Basanti Maharjan, July 30, 2016 (Dcnepal) – Indian side had made one sided dam at Dasgaja area of Saptari which had been demolished by the local residents of Tilathi, Saptari.

Without caring the threatening of Indian sector, locals of Tilathi demolished the dam constructed by Indain side in order to save their land in which several Nepalese people have been injured through the attack of Indians. Even former District Development member, Dev Narayan Yadav including ten other people has been seriously wounded through the attack of sticks.

Even though they said that they won’t surrender at any cost in front of Indian people and from their determination they have not been distracted even little. And as Nepalese people risen up angrily against Indian’s arbitraries for dam process, eventually Indians have moved backward giving up.

After Indian side constructed dam at Dasgaja of Tilathi, Saptari which can inundate Nepalese land, Nepalese people demolished the dam. When Nepalese sector destroyed the dam constructed by Indians and stand strongly against them for not giving to make dam in Dasgaja of Tilathi, Saptari, Indians have withdrawn.

Dev Narayan Yadav, former member and also who has been injured said that they have been fighting against Indian for their land and will be fighting until the end and also are ready to die for Nepalese land but will never let Indian people to make dam in Dasgaja area which can inundated Nepalese land. And also India is pressurizing Nepal day by day which is not bearable for Nepalese people said, Yadav.

Tilathi residents have been protesting against the dominating nature of India since long years even though the government is not giving any concern complaints painfully. They said that since decades they have been fighting with Indians and have been protecting the border.
